Early this morning the Task Force box was dispatched at 0129 hrs for the dwelling fire at E. Washington Avenue and the White horse Pike in Magnolia Station 29’s 1st due. The first arriving Chief declared the “all hands” due to heavy fire conditions throughout the one story wood frame dwelling. This brought additional companies to the scene. All companies were placed in service. Both primary and secondary searches were negative.
Command 2900 requested Rehab 13 to the scene and we were dispatched at 0157 hrs. Rehab 13 responded with (2) apparatus and (6) personnel to the incident for personnel support. Rehab 13 members provided rest room facilities and also served (18) bottles of MVP, (8) bottles of water, (3) pots of coffee, (2) pots of hot chocolate, (1) cup try and (1) table. Rehab 13 was released at 0411 hrs and returned to quarters to resupply and clean the units and was ready at 0445 hrs.
The fire was under investigation by local and county officials. The fire was in the unit 300 block of E. Washington Avenue.
