At 0110 hrs. Rehab 13 was called to the 400 block of Kingston Drive for a rehab assignment early Saturday morning. The dwelling fire box was transmitted by Camden County Radio @ 0056 hrs. for the dwelling fire at that location in Engine 1322’s fire due area. Arriving companies and Battalion 13 T. McGeady had a two story wood frame dwelling fully involved with a wood frame dwelling immediate exposure to the B side of the fire building. The initial line was stretched to the exposure and and additional lines including a 2 1/2″ line were placed in service along with a master stream. The “all hands” was declared bringing additional companies to the scene, including Cascade 11-4, and Rehab 13 along with mutual aid companies to cover the Cherry Hill Stations that were committed to the fire.
Rehab 13 made the scene at 0138 hrs. and provided hot and cold liquids, hot food, snack foods, a rest room, cooling towels, and lighting until being released by Command at 0327 hrs. Rehab 13 was ready for service @ 0405 hrs.
There were no injuries at the incident which remains under investigation at this time.
The SFD was undergoing renovations and was not occupied at the time of the fire.
