Rehab 13 was dispatched to Burlington City at 1326 hrs on the third alarm to assist with fire ground support on the 400 block of Locust Avenue where 8 (3) story MOD's (row homes/townhouses) were involved. Older balloon construction and a common cock-loft contributed to the fast fire spread. Aggressive fire fighting tactics were employed and limited the loss to eight units, but it could have been worse. The fire was reported to have started in the basement of one of the units and spread vertically and horizontally due to the construction type. A fourth alarm assignment was requested for manpower and the extensive overhaul that was necessary after knock down and all searches were completed. The fire occurred in Mitchell Fire Companies first due area. (original home of U1386)

Rehab 13 responded with three apparatus and 12 personnel and set up in the parking lot of the "All Saints Church" whose rear property empties onto Locust Avenue. EMS Company 909 (Endeavor) had already set up two tent structures for medical evaluation of personnel, so Rehab 13's Zumro Tent was not deployed.

Rehab 13 units were able to set up a rest and recovery area adjacent to the EMS Eval area and provided hot food, hot and cold beverages, light snack foods, folding chairs, towels, and rest room service, as well as spare socks, and foot and hand warmers for the members working at the scene. Over 250 sandwiches etc., were prepared for personnel during the incident.

Rehab 13 was released from the scene by command at 1713 hours and returend to station to re-supply and clean apparatus for the next assignment.
