Thursday, February 25, 2010 - At 2018 hrs this evening Rehab 13 was dispatched to Waterford Township to assist local police and other agency TRT Teams with a barricaded suspect in the area of 3rd Avenue and Raritan Avenue. Camden County also had their OEM Unit and Rehab bus on location. This unit was used for shelter due to the snow and winds that occurred during the incident.
Rehab 13 and U1386 with a crew of 6 personnel provided hot foods, hot coffee and hot chocolate, and rest room facilities for the PD units on scene. The suspect was taken into custody after several hours and no one was injured during the incident. U1386 was released by Rehab command at 2230 hrs.
Rehab 13 was released at 2324 hrs from the scene and returned to station to restore the apparatus for the next assignment.
