Just before 1500 hrs this afternoon Task Force Box 153 was sounded for the 1st block of E. Cedar Street in Haddon Twp., Westmont Section. First in reports indicated a heavy fire condition on the C Side of the dwelling extending up the exterior into the attic and 2nd floor. The "all hands" was declared around the ten minute mark followed shortly after that by a 2nd alarm request.

Companies from Westmont (15-1), Collingswood (16-1), West Collingswood Heights (15-2), Barrington (9-1), and Haddon Heights (2-1)were on the scene. Lawnside (27-2) and Bellmawr Park (3-3) provided a cover engine and ladder at Station 15-1.

Lines were stretched to the interior and to the rear while companies opened up and vented the roof. The fire was knocked quickly with an aggressive attack and all searches were negative. Rehab was requested at the twenty minute mark and Rehab 13 was alerted.

Rehab 13 responded with 4 and set up at the intersection of Johnson Avenue and Cedar Avenue, about two houses away from the fire building. Per a request from command only cold liquids and cooling towels were provided along with the rest room.

The origin and cause of fire is under investigation by the Camden County PAU unit and local authorities.

Rehab 13 was released from the scene at 1700 hrs and returned to station after a fuel stop at fire headquarters. Rehab was ready for service at 1805 hrs .
