Monday, April 16, 2012 - Tonight Rehab 13 members attended the official swearing in ceremony of newly elected Fire Commissioner, Willam P. Kelly. Mayor Chuck Cahn gave the oath of office to Mr. Kelly who was elected to a three year term.
All of the Fire District current Fire Commissioners including John Vaughan, Robert Campagna, Howard Margulies and Joyce Alexander Walker were in attendance along with Acting Fire Chief Robert Giorgio, Assistant Chief Thomas Kolbe, CFO John Foley, Assistant Chief Randall McCargar, Principal Staff Assistant Thomas Fiorentini, MCO Christine Oatman, and other fire officers and firefighters from Station 3 and Station 4 were in attendance.
Bill Kelly's wife Ida, Son Stephen and his wife Christy and their children Ryan and Kaitlyn, daughter Marian, and Bills close friend Bob Rasmussen were also at the ceremony.
The family and friends were invited on a tour of Central Command after the swearing in.
