At 0337 hrs. Rehab 13 was dispatched to Williamstown Rd and Jarvis Rd for the “all hands” dwelling fire. Companies arrived on location with a three story end of row wood frame townhouse under construction heavily involved. All companies were placed in service and a water supply was established. Rehab 13 responded with (2) apparatus and (5) personnel and established cooling stations and a rest area near the fire building, and provided hot and cold beverages, snack food, and opened the rest room.
Rehab 13 was on scene from 0418 hrs. until being released by command at 0617 hrs. At that time Rehab 13 returned to station to re-supply.
The end unit that was on fire was completely destroyed but the fire wall held and the rest of the units were saved.
The origin and cause of the fire in under investigation by local and county officials at the time.
