March 2019 started of with a 3rd alarm in Station 84’s local. They had a fire in the attic of an educational use in the 400 block of S. Black Horse Pike (Rt 168). The fire was located in the attic of the large school building. Rehab 13 was requested by command after the fire was knocked down.
Rehab13 was toned at 0832 hrs. and responded to the scene with Rehab 13 and U1386. Rehab was able to set-up in the school parking lot and of of Rt.168. Rehab distributed (37) bottles of MVP and water, (4) pots of coffee, (3) pots of hot chocolate, (24) breakfast sandwiches, (32) bags of cookies and salted nuts, (2) pairs of hand warmers, (1) table. and opened the rest room. A (96) ounce coffee jug was left at the scene along with a bucket and ice filled with MVP and water. Rehab was released from the scene at 1011 hrs. and was back in service at 1120 hrs.
The fire origin and cause is under investigation.
