Companies were dispatched to the unit block of Evergreen Avenue in Gloucester Twp. for a dwelling fire in a single family dwelling and arrived to find the structure well involved. All companies were placed in service. Due to the volume of fire a 2nd alarm was requested bringing additional resources to the scene along with Rehab 13 and cover assignments.
Rehab 13 was toned at 2352 hrs. and responded to the scene with Rehab 13 (1385) and U1386 with 5 personnel and arrived at 0024 hrs. Rehab 13 set up and the following was distributed: (63) bottles of MVP, (8) bottles of water, (4) pots of coffee, (56) 100% all beef gourmet hot dogs, (20) boxes of Famous Amos and Oreo cookies, (22) packs of peanuts and snack bars, (1) shirt, (4) cleansing wipes, (6) cotton cooling towels, (2) tables, and opened the rest room.Edit
Rehab was released from the scene at 0251 hrs. and returned to station to restore all units and supplies. The station was ready for service at 0400 hrs.
The fire origin and cause was under investigation.
