At 2221 hrs. last night Rehab 13 was toned to respond to Burlington County, Pemberton Township; for a dwelling fire in the Browns Mill section. Due to the travel distance Rehab 13 arrived on scene at 2323 hrs. with an active fire and gas fed fire still in progress on the unit block of Willow Blvd. Rehab 439 – unit 4398 was already on scene and had set up their heated tent and established a rest and recovery area. It’s nice to work with this company as they are dedicated professionals.
Rehab 13 with a crew of (7) along with U1386 and U1388 arrived and provided additional chairs, hot food, cold drinks, and opened the rest room. During the incident Rehab 13 served the following: (21) bottles of MVP, (3) bottles of water, (1) pot of hot chocolate, (32) gourmet all beef hot dogs on potato rolls, (24) cheeseburgers, (8) honey mustard chicken sandwiches, (6) dozen assorted snack foods, set up (2) tables, and deployed (6) additional folding chairs.
Rehab 13 was on scene from 2323 hrs. until 0151 hrs. when released by command. The unit was back in station and restocked by 0315 hrs. ( long drive to and from)
Access to the fire building was restricted by locals officials so only a few photos were taken of the dwelling.
The fire is under investigation. There were (2) fatalities. Details were not available at this time.
