The second run for this first weekend of fall occurred at 1219 hrs. on Saturday afternoon when the all hands was struck in Station 85’s local for a wood frame (2) story duplex fire that went all hands while en-rout to the scene.
Rehab 13 responded to the assignment with rehab 13 and U 1386 and (8) personnel and arrived at 1255 hrs. and provided liquids, hot food, chairs, rest room, and set up a cooling station near the fire building with a rest and recovery area. The rehab unit served (60) bottles of MVP, (24) bottles of water, (2) pots of coffee, (64) all beef gourmet hot dogs, and numerous snack foods along with folding chairs and (1) table. Rehab 13 arrived on scene at 1255 hrs. and operated until 1427 hrs. when released by command. The civilians that were affected by the fire were also sheltered and cared for by Rehab 13 personnel. Rehab 13 was back in service after clean-up and re-supply by 1530 hrs.
