On Wednesday March 28, 2018 the local girl scout troop visited our station after Beck Middle school let out for the day to present a gift to the members for the service that we provide to local and regional fire, EMS, and police First Responder’s and civilians that we take care of on the scene of countless incidents in out area.
The girl scouts and their troop leader came to the station to make the donation and were then treated to a complete our of the facility and apparatus and an explanation of what the term “Rehab” actually entails.
Members present conducted the tour and explained why and what we do and also given a tour of the 1939 Mack pumper which the fire company has owned since 1948.
The troop seemed very interested in the role that we are involved with and got a different perspective of what the Cherry Hill Fire Department has to offer to the public that it serves.
Photos were taken and it was a positive experience for the girls and for our members.
Anyone that would like to tour our facility can do so by calling our station directly at 856-424-1380. If we are not in station please leave a message with your contact information and telephone number. We will get back to you directly.
Thank You – Chief Tim Kraft
