On April 18, 2019 Rehab 13 was dispatched to the area of the Croft Farm to provide personnel support to units engaged in a search for a subject that was in that area and had threatened to harm himself. Units from the Cherry Hill Fire and Police Departments, Cherry Hill EMS, and both the Camden County and Mt. Ephraim OEM departments were also on scene. Members utilized multiple UTV’s and LED lighting in their attempts to locate the person.
At 2326 hrs. Rehab 13 responded with (8) personnel and (4) units (including 1388M) to the scene and set-up to provide food and beverages to the personnel during the search. Rehab 13 distributed (17) bottles of MVP, (8) bottles of water, (3) pots of coffee, (40) 100% all beef hot dogs, (6) boxes of assorted snack foods, (1) 6′ folding table, and (6) folding chairs in the rest and recovery sector.
The person in question was found safe and was taken to a local hospital with no injuries.
Rehab 13 personnel were released from the scene at 0115 hrs.
Due to the nature of the incident no photos were taken.
