Yesterday at 1300 hrs. Evesham Police were called to an incident where the assignment escalated into a barricaded suspect. At 1733 hrs. Rehab 13 was requested to provide personnel support for the personnel involved in mitigating the incident. We were set up at St. Issac Jogues Roman Catholic Church at 349 Evesboro-Medford Road.
Rehab 13 responded with (2) apparatus and (8) personnel to the assignment and were in service from 1739 hrs. until the peaceful conclusion of the incident at 2155 hrs. Rehab 13 and U1386 crews provided (15) bottles of MVP, (38) bottles of water, (4) posts of coffee, (1) cup of hot chocolate, (48) 100% beef hot dogs, (24) cheese burgers, opened the rest room, (1) foot/hand warmers, (1) pair of spare clothing, (6) cotton towels, (2) tables, (1) Ez -Up, and (5) folding chairs.
Many of the TRT Officers were out in the rain for hours when the incident occurred and were completely wet. We were able to supply spare clothing, dry socks, etc. to those officers requesting same.
The suspect surrendered and the incident came to a successful termination.
