Rehab 13 was requested for personnel support by Pennsauken Chief J. Palumbo for a multi-agency exercise for 1st Responder’s taking part in the drill at the light rail station located on River Rd. Pennsauken Township on this rainy Saturday morning. New Jersey Transit was the agency for the drill and use of the property and the staged light rail train set.
Rehab 13 and U1386 responded with a crew of (4) to provided the following during the exercise: (192) bottles of MVP, (70) bottles of water, (11) pots of coffee, (1) tea bag, (88) 100% beef hot dogs, (64) breakfast sandwiches, the rest room facility, (10) cooling towels, (2) tables, and numerous boxes of snack foods, along with setting up (3) Ex Ups and the serving window awning for protection from the rain during the drill. Rehab 13 operated from 0730 hrs. until 1138 hrs. when released by 1101. rehab 13 returned to station to begin the “drying out” of all equipment and were back in service by 1300 hrs.
