On this morning at 1048 hrs, Rehab 13 was dispatched to the 400 block of Cooper Landing Road in Cherry Hill for a high-rise apartment building fire. Companies on the box had a working fire in a fourth floor end apartment. The second alarm was struck upon arrival. All companies went in service.
Rehab 13 responded with (7) personnel and (3) apparatus and were positioned in the parking lot of the fire building. The following was provided: (17) MVP sports drinks, (4) bottles of water, (3) pots of coffee, (1) Box O’ Joe coffee, (8) cheeseburgers, (3) packages of Famous Amos cookies, and (2) tables were deployed for serving. The restroom was also in use. Rehab 13 was released at 1315 hours.
The fire origin and cause is under investigation by local and county investigators.
