divWith a National Weather Service Red Alert in effect for high winds and low humidity a Forest Fire Task Force Assignment was necessary to control a five acre fire in Clementon today. At 1706 hours Rehab 1385 Support Unit 1388nbspand Rehab 2566 Albion Station Winslow Twp. were dispatched to the staging area at the Clementon Elementary School located off of Erial Road. Forest Fire units and multiple local companies were in service trying to controlnbspa fast moving fire due to 20-30 mph sustained winds with 40 mph gusts. Rehab units prepared hot and cold beverages hot dogs and a rest area for the firefighters in staging as well as the firefighters returning from the fire line. nbsp nbspThe fire was placed under control and units were starting to rotate into the Rehab Area when another brush and woods fire was reported in Wateford Township. The Forest Fire units that were in staging along with the Field Communcation Unit from Camden County were sent to this scene. Fortunately this fire was only about one acre in size and was contained quickly. All Rehab units were released from the Clementon assignment at this time.nbsp1388 and 1385nbspcleared the scene at 1915 hours and were back in service and re-supplied by 2000 hours.divdivnbspdivdivAll photo credits L.
